The Rainier Arts Festival was created to extend over a period of three days for several reasons. First, several days were needed to give the all the artists, musicians & visitors, enough time to stay and enjoy the festival, the town of Ashford and surrounding communities, and magnificent Mt. Rainier!

In addition, the Rainer Art Festival seeks to further public awareness of the creative process. We believe that the success of this festival depends, in part, on a greater understanding of the interconnections of art, nature and the spirit of the Mountain. Thus, we encourage artisans to demonstrate their respective mediums and hold workshops for festival visitors.

Please continue to check this page for artists' demonstrations & workshops.
