Greetings from the Rainier Arts Festival! We're excited to announce our sponsorship program and would be honored to have you as a partner for our first annual event.
Mt. Rainier is a majestic presence over the Washington skyline. Most of us see it, between the rain drops, almost every day. Its beauty has been the source of inspiration to artists of all mediums for centuries. We invite you to join our group of inspired artisans and art appreciators for a celebration of art on October, 5th, 6th & 7th, 2007.
While this is our first event and attendance numbers are unsure at the moment, the Rainier Arts Festival hopes to gather a wide range of artists and outdoor enthusiasts. Western Washington artisans will be invited to sell their original works of art, hold multi-day workshops and daily demonstrations. Plenty of food & drink, and a music soundstage with popular local musicians, will add to the excitement.
The Rainier Arts Festival is fourth in a series of festivals made possible by a grant from Pierce County Community Services. Through their contribution, we have been able to launch a website, purchase some print advertising and obtain the necessary permits & facilities needed for a festival of this size. And, we're partnering with area organizations to promote the event and have already had a tremendous amount of response from art organizations, tourism entities and entertainment publications.
The event is currently advertised, in print ads, in 125,000 copies of the 2007 Travel Tacoma and Pierce County Visitor Guide and other publications throughout the region. Our website, www.RainierArts.com is currently linked to several leading tourism websites such as the Mt. Rainier Visitor Association, VisitRainer, the Tacoma Regional Convention & Visitor Bureau and Washington State Tourism. We are seeking promotion opportunities through other media, such as newspaper & radio, but our promotion dollars are limited.
We need individuals and organizations, such as you, to help make this event a success.
As a sponsorship partner of the Rainier Arts Festival, your contribution is not only a charitable and honorable contribution of support for the Arts, but also for local area high school students who plan to attend college or other vocational schools. Dollars for Scholars is a local, volunteer-operated, community based scholarship foundation legally affiliated with Citizens' Scholarship Foundation of America. The local community rallies around those seeking higher education to give them a boost of financial aid, personal encouragement, and support to ensure that they can reach their highest potential. In addition to the Dollars for Scholars program, we are asking each artist and visitor to make a contribution to help build the Ashford Performing Art Center, scheduled to begin construction in 2009. You contribution to this event will help to secure higher education and enrich the lives of many aspiring young artists & students.
We believe that, in addition to the fun and excitement surrounding an art festival, you will find that being involved in the Rainier Arts Festival will also be of benefit to your business. Below you will find a list of advantages you will receive as a sponsor of this years' event.
