Just Added! Live Art Auction

The First Annual Rainier Arts Festival is proud to announce the addition of a live art auction, featuring Steve Mitzner, professional auctioneer.
The auction will be held on the Nisqually Lodge Sound Stage at 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 6th. The art featured in the auction will be from the artists participating in the art festival.
In addition, a "Quick Draw", a "Quick Fire" & a "Quick Carve" will be held throughout the day on Saturday, before the auction. The participating artists will be given a short amount of time to create a "Quick Draw" painting or drawing, a "Quick Fire" Raku pottery piece, and a "Quick Carve" wood carving. Don't miss out on the fun!
Steve Mitzner, Auctioneer
Steve is a native of the Northwest growing up in Chewelah and settling in
the Okanogan Valley. He has been auctioneering for over twenty-five years.
Aside from his auction business he and his wife, Jeanne, run their cattle
ranch and logging operations. Steve has many friends in the art world and
is well respected among western artists. Some of the art auctions he has
worked include; The Spokane Western Art Show, Western Reflections Art
Show and Auction, Washington and Idaho, Celebration of Western Art,
Omak Stampede Western Art Show, Ducks Unlimited Auctions, Methow
Valley Arts Alliance and Northwest Territory Auction. Steve also donates his service
to the many charity auctions throughout the country. He and his family make their
home on the family ranch just outside of Okanogan.
